RUN WITH THE NATIONS is the first annual charity 5K run/walk hosted by
African Leadership and
World Relief in celebration of World Refugee Day. Each year, millions of refugees flee from oppression and persecution due to political turmoil, war, prejudice, and natural disasters. They make the long, dangerous journey with no promise of safety or survival. Right now, there are tens of thousands of current and former refugees who have started their lives over right here in Middle Tennessee! With hard work and the support of the community, refugees overcome cultural and language barriers as they become self-sufficient. All proceeds of this event will directly support the self-sufficiency programs and relational ministries African Leadership and World Relief who work to economically, socially, and spiritually transform the lives of refugees. On June 19th, you can literally
run with the nations as refugees from around the world come out to meet their community and honor their brothers and sisters en route to freedom.
